West Coast Swing
West Coast Swing (WCS) is a partner dance derived from Lindy Hop. It is characterised by a distinctive elastic look that results from its basic extension-compression technique of partner connection, and is danced primarily in a slotted area on the dance floor. The dance allows for both partners to improvise steps while dancing together.

Learn to dance West Coast Swing in Christchurch! Ben and Mandi are proud to bring West Coast Swing dance classses to the South Island. Their introductory lessons are great fun and they'll have you dancing by the end of the first lesson. You'll also get meet a lot of new people because classes are rotational. This means you don't need to bring a partner either.
